Kia ora! I am on assignment 5, page 8, third to last paragraph. After the word ‘Silence’, I want to put a full stop and there is also a need for a space between the word and the next. There isn’t enough space to place two insert textual marks, so I’m wondering how to go about this. Do I put the fullstop and the # within the same forward slash in the margin?
Thanks in advance!Writing your margin correction like that is one way of ensuring a client is aware that an extra space may be needed after the full stop, and that it applies to one particular place in the text. It can depend on how the client though, as many typesetters use styles/templates that automatically insert spaces after punctuation.
