    graceful describes an action ie as in graceful dancer             gracious describes an attribute, ie as in gracious manner

    corps as in army corps                         corpse as in dead body

    sauce as in apple sauce  to add to food         source as in the mouth of a river or person with information

    to faint is to lose consciousness                     to feint is to pretend to have been punched, injured

    Well, there is the one that contributes to my company’s (not companies 🙂 ) name: Write or Wrong? (so, write or right): http://www.writeorwrong.co.nz

    But two of my favourite homophones are (copied from ‘Your Dictionary’ website):

     

    • affect/effect: Affect is a verb (in most cases) and indicates influence. Effect is a noun (in most cases) and is the result of an action or change.
    • compliment/complement: Compliment means to say something nice about someone or something. Complement means something that enhances or completes
