If you want to be a better writer become a better reader. People who read a lot have a head start when they come to write. Learn to read as a writer, which means not just taking note of <u>what</u> is written, but seeing <u>how</u> it is written so that you can imprint on your mind how good writing is achieved or why a piece of writing is not good.
